Via Third World County here's Newt Gingrich's CPAC address. As usual, Newt is articulate, to the point, principled and a superb spokesman for conservatism. Not the stemwinder of Rush Limbaugh, but more on target and much less abrasive to the masses.
Seeing this makes me wonder once again, how much better off the country (and the world) would be if Newt had been the Republican candidate for President last time around. He would have wiped Obama out in the debates, and when people finally saw what a lightweight he was his campaign would have probably imploded.
Oh well, we've got Obama now and hopefully we can make it through the next four years with something like the America we used to know still intact on the other side.
