Today is Towel Day, where geeks like me carry a towel with them in remembrance of author Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchiker's Guide The The Galaxy book series.
I accidentally left my towel sitting on the dresser at home, but I'll make up for it by posting one of my favorite lines from the Guide:
"One of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them. To summarize: it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it."
He was brilliant, he was funny as hell, and he left us way too soon.
